The museum has one rule, and it is in our name. Here is why we keep it.

Every work in the collection was made in the last 25 years, by an artist who is still working. When a work turns 25, it moves on to another museum.

A collection that keeps moving

Most museums grow older every year. Ours stays the same age. Each autumn we say goodbye to the works that have turned 25 and welcome new ones.

Why it matters

Art made now is about now. Showing it while it is still current, while the artist can still talk about it, is the reason we exist.
