Talk
19 November 2026, 18:30 to 20:00
Pablo Arrieta on painting the same hour again and again, and why his canvases keep getting bigger.
Pablo Arrieta talks with Matteo Corsini about painting the same hour again and again. Afternoon, Repeated is his kitchen at four o’clock, painted every day for a year; Blue Hour, Copenhagen is the street outside, painted from the museum’s own office window.
He will talk about why his canvases keep getting bigger, how he knows when to stop, and what happens to a place when you look at it every day for a year.
The talk is in English and lasts an hour, followed by questions. The galleries stay open until 20:00 for ticket holders, so you can see both paintings in Loud Colour.
