How the installation team hung Everything Is Weather in eleven days, from a lift, in gloves.

Everything Is Weather arrived in forty crates: the painting itself and the 411 studies that hang around it. Each panel had a number, a height and a place on a plan drawn by Astrid Nyland.

Eleven days on a lift

The team worked from two lifts, hanging around forty panels a day. Every panel was handled in gloves, so no fingerprint would show in the light.

The last panel

Astrid hung the last one herself, on the morning of the opening.
